Sarah Hosein
Sarah is passionate about building collaborative communities that bridge scientific innovation, industry expertise and strategic relationships to address the issues that are highly relevant to the future of healthcare
She is a healthcare executive, coach and advisor with over 15 years of experience leading complex healthcare organizations across the US, UK, and Sierra Leone. She supports healthcare leaders and startups in building strong teams, scalable organizations, and effective leadership practices.
Previously, Sarah held senior leadership roles at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston Medical Center, Planned Parenthood of Greater New York, and the UK’s National Health Service.
Sarah earned her MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management. She is part of the MIT Leadership Center, where she co-teaches a course on building effective teams and serves as an executive coach to MBA students.
Kyra Delray

Kyra is a PhD candidate in Statistics and Machine Learning at the University of Oxford, researching personalized causal inference, heterogeneous effects, and dynamic digital treatment regimes. Her lab work spans medical imaging and wearable technology, applying simulation-to-real methodology for diagnostic accuracy and NLP algorithms to time-series data for human activity recognition.
She is a former NIHR Research Fellow at UCL, an international medalist, and an Olympic-training-level rowing athlete.
Joshua Baktay
Studio Scientist
Joshua holds a PhD in Computational Physics from Northeastern University, where he developed novel tensor network and machine learning algorithms to study condensed matter systems. His work has focused on the intersection of quantum computing, AI, and drug discovery.
He is currently the Technical Prize Director for XPrize Quantum Applications Competition, a Google Quantum AI-backed initiative that accelerates the development of practical quantum computing algorithms to solve major real world problems in healthcare, climate, energy, and materials science.
Joshua is a member of Boston's Convergence Center for Applied Quantum Computing, where he examines the impact of deep tech on the life sciences.
