Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 12, 2026
HealthTech Build (“HealthTech Build,” “we,” “us” or “our”) is a nonprofit organization convening entrepreneurs, scientists and industry leaders across biopharma, medtech and healthtech. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and our newsletter, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies wherever this policy is posted, including on our main website.
Information we collect
Information you provide directly. If you sign up for our newsletter, your name and email address are collected by our email service provider, Brevo, through their signup form. If you email us at info@healthtechbuild.com, we receive whatever you include in that message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically logs standard technical information — such as IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you visit — for security, troubleshooting and basic usage statistics. We do not use this information to build an individual profile of you.
Fonts. This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Loading a font makes a request to Google’s servers, which may receive your IP address as part of that request, governed by Google’s privacy policy.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies to track visitors or serve ads. A short-lived session cookie is created only when a staff member logs into our administrative area to update site content — ordinary visitors browsing the public pages of this site are not issued a cookie.
How we use information
We use the information above to operate and improve this website, respond to messages sent to info@healthtechbuild.com, and — for newsletter subscribers — send occasional updates about HealthTech Build events, programs and community news. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers who help us run the site and newsletter, each of whom is bound by their own privacy practices:
- Brevo (and, during our transition, Mailchimp) — our email newsletter provider, which stores subscriber email addresses and sends our newsletter.
- Our hosting provider — which processes standard server logs as described above.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of HealthTech Build, our community, or others.
Speakers, board members and event photos
Names, professional biographies and photographs of speakers, board members, sponsors and event attendees may appear on this site as part of our public programming and event recaps. If you’d like something corrected or removed, contact us at info@healthtechbuild.com.
Data retention
We keep newsletter contact information until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. Standard server logs are retained only as long as needed for the security and operational purposes described above.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in every email we send, or by contacting us directly. You can also contact us at info@healthtechbuild.com to ask what information we hold about you or to request that it be deleted.
Children’s privacy
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Links to other websites
This site links to third-party websites, including sponsor and partner organizations, social media, and our email service provider’s signup pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we don’t operate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
